Example 5

The following example is a simulation of a wireless communication network with down-links in the field to aircraft for local distribution. The communication events between aircraft and ground-stations are high-lighted as they occur. Frequent concurrent transfers can be observed.

This simulation demonstrates that entities can be easily represented with arbitary shapes or arbitrary images. It also shows that entities can be moved as the simulation progresses in time. Various three-space projections can be viewed. (A small subset of images was used to minimize this movie for remote viewing. Actual animations have smooth motion.)

Visualizations are extremely helpful in conveying to customers, or other designers, the system aspects that you are simulating.
